9/11 Memorial
The 4th Degree Honor Guard presented flowers during the 9/11 memorial Ceremony on the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 Terror Attacks at the 9/11 Memorial in Overland Park on Sunday September 11th, 2022.
Presentation of the 4th Degree Chalice on Aug 18th 2022 to Father Simon Peter. He is going to be giving it to one of the priests in his diocese in Africa. He was very surprised and excited to receive this amazing gift! We explained the significance of the names on the chalice. We will be writing up a letter to go with the chalice providing a brief history and information on each of the Sir Knight's.

August 15th Assembly Meeting - Recognizing Jerry Ilk for his help in the transition of our new Comptroller as well as bringing his past Grand Knight skills to our leadership team! He was pivotal in helping gather up all the information from Jack Ferris's files and putting things in order for Alan Peel. Jerry is always there when we need him and is a great asset to the Assembly!
At our October 18th Assembly Meeting Dr. Troy Hinkel from the Holy Family School of Faith’s Movement of the Holy Family joined us to pray a rosary that he recorded for their daily rosary podcast. On June 21st, 2021, out Assembly had a Knighting Ceremony to officially Knight all those Sir Knights who joined the 4th degree via virtual exemplifications during the Covid-19 pandemic. Twelve candidates went through the exemplification. They are John Brinker, Alexander Dekonenko, Patrick Feltman, Kirk Kinsinger, Troy Kuhn, Thomas Loew, James McGrath, Kevin Schuster, and Erik Witt, Marty Thoennes, Bill Weaver, and Ryan Werth.
On Tuesday morning, September 1st, 2020 at 9:00am our Assembly presented a $500.00 check to Leawood Chief Police Troy Rettig for the Leawood Community Outreach Project.
During our August Assembly meeting a decision was made to contribute $500.00 to the Leawood Police Department to reflect our support for local law enforcement. Sir Knights Jim Rochel and Ken Lopez contacted Chief Rettig who suggested the funds be directed to the Community Outreach Project.
